Therapy?
Dynamic therapy focuses on the way people relate with one another. The central theory is that most mental and emotional struggles are deeply rooted in the patterns of interacting with others that develop early in life. Each person's past is important for the ways it influences them right now. Talking with a therapist who is trained and experienced in dynamic therapy helps a person change these patterns and in the process they feel better.
Issues such as depression, anxiety, and other symptoms can be understood and worked with in dynamic terms. People struggle with strong feelings of every kind. When a person is overburdened different kinds of mental and emotional distress appear. While symptoms can be frightening and frustrating, dynamic therapists see them as signals that growth and development are needed. I am trained and experienced in working with various forms of distress to initiate positive growth.
